Two Champions Meet on the Eastern Shore
Golf legends Arnold Palmer and Jack Nicklaus were asked to design two 18-hole courses that would take advantage of the extraordinary views and natural features of Bay Creek Resort’s beautiful location on Virginia's Eastern Shore. Historical landmarks from Cape Charles 19th and 20th century railroad era mingle with the modern contours of these championship layouts. Golf Digest placed the Jack Nicklaus course at No. 3 in its "Top Ten Best New Upscale Public Courses" rankings for 2006.

Plantings and landscaping make Bay Creek a constant visual feast.

These courses have been designed with tee placements that will be a challenge to the low-handicapper while creating an enjoyable golfing experience for all levels of players. The golf courses at Bay Creek Resort & Club are the focal point of the Bay Creek at Cape Charles Community as they wind through the residential neighborhoods.

Golf by Nicklaus and Palmer
With four holes on the shores of the Chesapeake Bay, eight holes on Old Plantation Creek and several holes framed by sand-dunes and large beach bunkers, the Palmer Course is a nature lover's delight. The 7,204-yard championship course pampers its golfers with smooth A-4 greens and perfectly manicured Tifway Bermuda fairways. Five strategically placed sets of tees will make golf fun and challenging for players of all skill levels.

The Jack Nicklaus design measures 7,216 yards with Tifsport Bermuda fairways and smooth A-4 bent grass greens, and is characterized by large waste bunkers and more than 100 formal bunkers. Five strategically placed sets of tees are guaranteed to make this course fun and challenging for players of all skill levels.

The Bay Creek Golf Shop and the Coach House Tavern are now open in the 19,000 square foot Coach House building, a replica of a 19th Century stable adjacent to the clubhouse site. The Bay Creek clubhouse, also known as the Manor House, a beautiful, multi-story, 44,000 square foot masterpiece will begin construction as soon as the membership grows to the requisite level. Bay Creek is currently open to the public but will eventually become a private club. Memberships are now available for Bay Creek property owners.

The Marina at Bay Creek
Bay Creek's world class marina, located in the protected harbor of King’s Creek, offers a deepwater channel with seven feet at MLW (always check for current conditions). It is an exceptional port for exploring the Intracoastal Waterway, the blue-green waters of the Chesapeake Bay and the Atlantic Ocean.

The Marina is a state-of-the-art facility offering 224 slips (upon completion, currently has 123), two restaurants, Aqua and Cabana Room, a marine store (The Complete Angler) and a harbormaster. All of the amenities are arranged in a pedestrian friendly village complete with retail shops, and more.

Sailors and boaters will find a warm welcome at the marina.

The Marina features no overhead obstructions with slips in size from 35 feet to 70 feet. Constructed of superior Brazilian Walnut decking, our full–length, fully–cushioned single loading slips can accommodate boats up to 150 feet. The Complete Angler marine store carries adventure wear and many supplies for the avid sports fisherman. It also carries convenience items for those who tend to forget the little things.
