Description
Spanning 5,000 acres of
rolling terrain surrounded by 14 state parks, three national
forests and a national park, The Cliffs at Mountain Park perches
on the leading edge of the Blue Ridge Mountains between
Asheville, North Carolina and Greenville, South Carolina.
The community is the seventh in a collection of The Cliffs’
private residential destinations. It includes a Gary Player
Signature golf course, currently under development, a
European-inspired village and miles of hiking and biking trails
in and around the community.

The Gary Player Signature course at Mountain Park will join a stellar line-up of courses at The Cliffs.
The Gary Player Signature course at Mountain Park will join a
stellar line-up of courses at The Cliffs, including a Tom
Jackson mountaintop classic at The Cliffs at Glassy and an
award-winning Jack Nicklaus course at Walnut Cove.
The community’s Gary Player Signature design at Mountain Park
will take advantage of panoramic mountain elevations, with 14 of
its 18 holes incorporating the pristine North Saluda River that
weaves through the community.
Construction of the Mountain Park course is on an aggressive
timeline, with designs well underway and completion slated for
2009.
Membership with a Wealth of Options At The Cliffs Communities,
members enjoy an unprecedented array of amenities and lifestyle
opportunities. Membership in one community offers access to over
$150 million in completed amenities at all eight of the Cliffs
locations.
For golf, this means eight championship courses crafted by the
masters—Jack Nicklaus, Tom Fazio, Gary Player, Ben Wright, Tom
Jackson, and, as announced last August, Tiger Woods’ first golf
course design in the U.S.. Just as enticing is a comprehensive
wellness program developed with renowned health and medical
experts.
Golf legend Gary Player is not only designing the golf course at
The Cliffs at Mountain Park but also relocating his family and
Black Knight North American headquarters to The Cliffs at
Mountain Park.
“I will proudly be able to say I’m from The Cliffs at Mountain
Park, and the fact that I’m building my home here proves it,”
Mr. Player said.

The community is laced throughout with an extensive
SuperTrail system that connects residents to their natural
surroundings. Hike through quiet woodland along pristine
waterways or explore the community’s extensive amenities.

Gary Player Group. The Cliffs at Mountain Park will also be home
to botanical gardens, an Organic Farm and Nature Center.
The Black Knight North American Headquarters will span 12,000
square feet across two stories in the heart of The Village at
Mountain Park. To be completed in 2008, the complex will be The
Village’s landmark building.
Its 40-foot tower is designed to take in spectacular views of
the Gary Player Signature golf course and panoramic Blue Ridge
Mountains. Complementing these features will be exteriors of
stucco and stone, decorative trellises and gardens alongside a
13-acre pond.

An organic farm adds beauty and value to The Cliffs.
A 10-acre organic farm provides over 100 varieties of
all-natural, pesticide-free fruits, vegetables, herbs, and
flowers and supplies many of The Cliffs’ clubhouses and
restaurants.
