Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

Close to the oceanfront at Myrtle Beach is a private retreat
with
|
|
quiet lakes, first-class golf and a
tradition of caring service. |
Description
Wild Wing is a 950-acre custom-home community with 180 acres of freshwater lakes and nearly 14 miles of shoreline. Residents enjoy their 4,000-square-foot Owner’s Clubhouse, tennis courts, boat storage, a golf clubhouse and 27 holes of award-winning golf.
Wild Wing golf combines the brawny Avocet course with the beginner-friendly Hummingbird nine-holer. Co-designed by U.S. Open champion Larry Nelson, Avocet is a well-groomed championship layout woven into a landscape of lakes and trees.

The Wild Wing grounds are landscaped to
complement nature.
The Hummingbird, designed by Willard Byrd, integrates the area's natural beauty with interesting and challenging golf.
The multi-million dollar Owner’s Activity Center is an inspiring setting that unites the community. The Owner’s Clubhouse overlooks the lake and a myriad of activities. It’s an inspiring setting to pursue any recreation or just to relax.

Wild Wing's Activity Center offers pools,
sundecks and more.
The center is where members go to enjoy fitness equipment, three pools, a waterslide, sundecks and a spacious clubhouse. There is also a hot tub and a well-tended sandy beach. Sparkling lakes are ready and waiting for boaters and fishermen to enjoy.

Golf Sets the Stage for Excellence
After your round, the Players Pub, renovated in 2008, is a great place to relax for a drink or a satisfying meal—with a big-screen TV and seating for 125. The Wishbones Room offers a great location to hold special events, banquets and meetings.
The origin of Wild Wing Plantation dates back to 1991 when the Wood Stork course was opened. A second course, the Hummingbird, was opened in 1992, and in 1993 and 1994 the Avocet and Falcon were opened.

Wild Wing has several courses from which
to choose.
In December of 2005, Wild Wing Plantation was sold to local businessmen who have pledged to maintain the quality golf and commitment to service but will also create a first-class residential neighborhood with superior golf and social amenities.
The Wild Wing clubhouse is a favorite spot for locals and even out of town guests to host parties and events. Wild Wing can accommodate various size groups indoors and outdoors for any occasion.

Fountains are a peaceful touch to an
already enjoyable experience.
In addition to the main banquet room facilities, Wild Wing offers an expansive wrap around patio. Large lawn areas are also available, perfect for outdoor functions, picnics, and tented parties.
The Coves At Wild Wing is a new neighborhood that provides an easy approach to ownership by offering homesites starting in the $90,000 range and home/lot packages starting from $290,000.
Living along the interconnected lakes is an extremely affordable way to enjoy this desirable waterfront lifestyle. The lakes surrounding this neighborhood make it easy to navigate through the interconnected waters directly to the world-class Amenity Center.
